Greetings!
Welcome to the second edition of our Newsletter!
Celebrating Children’s Day this October makes me ponder on issues of effective parenting. How well do we know our children? How often do we discipline them but fail to educate them? Do we say ‘no’ to them simply because it’s troublesome or inconvenient? Do we take the time to listen to their requests and explanations? I know it’s tough in a society where we juggle work-life balance, dual-income households, I need to work hard to provide for the family mentality, the list goes on… there’s always a reason we can come up with. Nevertheless, let’s use this Children’s Day to spend time with our precious ones and I challenge you to ask yourself, “How effective I am as a parent?”
Here’s to all our little ones and the young at heart. Happy Children’s Day, everyone!

Useful Advice/Tip
We all probably have heard about freezing breastmilk, soup stocks, or food puree into ice cubes in our freezers. Have you tried filling our ice cube trays with leftover Chardonnay and pop them into the freezer for future use in cooking, especially pasta sauces?
